CrossFit is defined as “increased work capacity across broad time and modal domains.” Created by Dr. Greg Glassman (“Coach”), the CrossFit prescription calls for “constantly varied, functional movements executed at high intensity.”
It is not possible to do justice to all that is CrossFit here. The best source of information about CrossFit can be found at www.crossfit.com. Everything you need short of in-person coaching can be found there, including endless articles and video on CrossFit theory, movements, events, history and more.
Once there, go to the CrossFit Journal – journal.crossfit.com – and subscribe. You will have access to the latest information to issue forth each day from CrossFit HQ. There’s no better training resource – again, short of in-person coaching – to be had anywhere.
